Safety: Our Top Priority
Safety workshops with versions for adults and students explain what to do during power outages, how to recognize and report natural gas leaks, and how to stay safe during electrical emergencies--including why you should stay away from downed power lines. Learn more now Safety page.

This interactive energy efficiency workshop fives dozens of no- and low-cost energy-saving tips and describes financial incentives to help you make energy-efficient home improvements. Energy Supply Options
This program helps our customers understand their electric supply options in Illinois’ restructured energy environment and explores potential ways to save money with Alternate Retail Electric Suppliers (ARES). The Ameren Illinois Utilities are dedicated to educating customers about supply choice in Illinois and encourage customers to explore all of their electric supply options. . Lights for Learning
Lights for LearningTM is an education-based outreach and fundraising program that promotes the sale and use of low-cost, energy-efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs). The program helps children and schools raise needed funds while encouraging participants and their communities to become more energy conscious. Through their sponsorship, the Ameren Illinois Utilities help bring this educational and unique fundraiser to schools in downstate Illinois. The program provides a platform for educating students, teachers and the community on energy efficiency, while also protecting valuable natural resources through the sale of long-lasting CFLs.
