Monetary incentives for building ENERGY STAR^® qualified homes are available through the ENERGY STAR New Homes Program.

Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Raters
HERS Raters are a pivotal part of the program, as each new ENERGY STAR home must be independently verified by a qualified HERS Rater.

Quick Overview

• $450 or $750 base incentive to the Builder for each qualifying home that earns an ENERGY STAR rating of 71-85. The incentive is doubled for a rating of 56-70 and tripled for a rating of 55 or less.
• Home may also be eligible for other ActOnEnergy^® program incentives, such as efficient equipment and other measures
•  Independent verification by a qualified HERS Rater is required

How to Participate
Home Builders and HERS Raters operating in the territory served by Ameren Illinois are invited to become registered program allies. Simply complete and return the appropriate ENERGY STAR Program Ally Agreement to the address on the form. The forms below are interative and may be completed electronically.
