Get a FREE Internet-enabled thermostat (with FREE installation) and help the Ameren Illinois Utilities control summer energy demand. The E-Smart™ Programmable Thermostat program uses a paging system to remotely "cycle" your central air conditioner, turning it off for short intervals during times of high overall demand for electricity in the summer season. (Please note that cycling events only apply to the air conditioning unit during the summer season and do not affect your furnace).

Your state-of-the-art programmable thermostat conveniently lets you preset automatic temperature adjustments and change your thermostat settings manually or from any Internet connection. This program is available to most Ameren Illinois Utilities electric customers.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Installations are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and must be completed by an approved Act On Energy Program Ally. Depending on eligibility, manpower availability and location, there may be a waiting period. If we cannot schedule your installation immediately, you will be put on a waiting list and contacted when our installers are in your area. We appreciate your patience.
