For such a young program, Act On Energy has already accomplished a lot. Our Program Year 1 (June 1, 2008 - May 31, 2009) accomplishments include:

•    Selling 833,883 energy-efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs
•    Launching 5 energy-efficiency programs for residential customers and 8 for business customers
•    Enrolling more than 250 Program Allies
•    Performing 771 home energy audits
•    Awarding more than $3.3 million in business energy-efficiency incentives
•    Recycling 3,848 obsolete refrigerators
•    Launching a CFL recycling program
•    Saving a total amount of energy equivalent to the planting of 1,656,473 trees or taking 12,353 vehicles off the road for a year
